Hammond's candies was launching a line of savory, better-for-you snacks. The challenge, as one of America's oldest and most revered candy makers, was disassociating from its sugary roots, yet keeping the personality and charm. We crafted playful product names to bring the fun wow factor, while creating a story around each product type. Delicious, natural bright colors represent each sku for quick recognition when shopping, and radiant design elements lend a feeling of joy and quality.
To connect to the brand's playful roots, we crafted charming names for each sku. This allowed the packaging to stay minimal and impactful, while keeping the charm and smile associated with Hammond's candies.
